| The
following procedures will be followed for all Scoutmaster
Conferences and Boards of Review. All Scouts should bring their
handbooks to each troop meeting and camp out. |
| It is the
Scouts responsibility to approach a Scoutmaster to have them
sign in their books, when they feel they have met a rank
requirement. If the Scoutmaster feels that the Scout has earned
the requirement, they will then initial and date the book.
Once a Scout has met all the requirements for the rank they are
currently working on, books should be given to the
Advancement Chairman. |
| When the
Advancement Chairman has
determined that the Scout has met all the requirements, the
Scout may then sign up for a Scoutmaster Conference. |
| After the
Scout passes the Scoutmaster Conference, they may sign up for a
Board of Review. |
| The
Advancement Chairman will
arrange to have Three (3) of the Troop Committee available to
perform the Board of Review. It is the responsibility of
all Scouts to see the Advancement
Chairman to sign up for the Scoutmaster Conference
and Boards of Review. |
| It is the
responsibility of the Scoutmasters to see the
Advancement Chairman before
they do a Scoutmaster Conference. |
| The rank
of Scout does not require that the Scout go through a Board of
Review. The Scout may approach any Scoutmaster when they feel
they are ready for their Scoutmaster Conference for the rank of
Scout. |
| Once the
Scoutmaster has signed off on this rank, the
Advancement Chairman needs to see
the Scouts handbook. |
|
Scoutmaster Conferences and Boards of Review will be done at the
weekly Troop meetings. It may be necessary to perform these at
weekend camp outs or at some other time that can be scheduled. |
|
Please make sure that this is coordinated
with the Advancement Chairman. |
| If a
Scout has signed up for a Scoutmaster Conference or Board of
Review and is not available than the next Scout on the list will
have his preformed. The Scout will remain at the top of the
list for the next meeting. |
