Scouts ready to work on Merit Badges must gain the
approval of the
Scoutmaster.
The Scoutmaster will issue the Scout a Blue Merit Badge card. |

Once approval has been obtained, the
Advancement Chairman
will assist the Scout in
finding a Merit Badge Counselor. |
|
It is the responsibility of the Scout to contact the
Counselor and make arrangements for meetings. |
|
This should be done with the buddy system in mind No
Scout should meet with a Counselor without another
person being with them. |
|
All incomplete and complete Blue Merit Badge cards should be
returned to the
Advancement Chairman. |
