| Troop 925
will raise funds to cover the purchase of equipment and for
expenses related to troop functions. Each Scout if responsible
for a portion of these expenses. There will be two major fund
raisers per year with the proceeds going to the Troop. Each
Scout benefits from the experience of helping the troop earn the
money to cover our expenses and to help the Troop grow. These
events will have required attendance. If a Scout is unwilling
to participate in the fund raising activities then the parents
will be responsible for covering his portion of equipment and/or
Troop expenses. Unwillingness to participate does not show any
Scouting Spirit in the Troop and Patrol endeavors. |

| Other
fund raising events will be held for the Scouts to earn money to
pay for their expenses not included in the annual dues. Four to
six events will be held each year. These proceeds can be used
for the cost of the monthly camp outs, Camporee, super trips,
uniforms, dues or any other scouting activity. During the fund
raising projects, the Scouts will earn credit for their
participation. The allocation of proceeds will depend on the
event less any expenses. Net proceeds will be split among the
participants and placed in their Scout account held by the Troop
treasurer. It will be the boys' option to use his funds for the
activity he chooses. A Scout Account Transaction Form must be
completed and submitted by the Treasurer prior to usage. |
