Parent Opportunities

Our success just doesn't happen on it's own.  We are fortunate to have many active adults.  Some are very dedicated, some modestly dedicated, some slightly dedicated.  Whatever your interest, skill or time constraints, your help is appreciated, will be put to good use and is very important.

Parents are invited to every activity.

Troop leadership has four components:

Troop Committee - that sets the goals and standards, plans and monitors the activities and handles the troop property and monies.
Scoutmasters - who teach the skills, help the Junior Leaders lead, monitors each boys progress and ensures a safe and wholesome program.

Merit Badge Counselors - who teach the many enrichment skills.

Everyone Else - who helps with the transportation, fund raising, assists the other leaders, serves food, teaches a skill, encourages and helps their son to succeed.  Everyone else includes Dads and Moms, grandparents, and other community minded persons.
