Cost of Joining |

Like all other activities,
Scouting cost. |
|
To join,
dues
consisting of
National, Council, Insurance and Troop fees are collected. The
annual amount is $80.00 per year. Fees are pro-rated during
the year. Each family will be responsible for selling one (1)
table for our Spring Trivia Night. |
|
Most
activities
have costs involved, with each
Scout having responsibility for food, transportation and
admission costs. Several fund raising events each year allow
the Scouts to earn money for their own personal Scouting
expenses. |
|
A full
uniform
is required for
Boards of Review
and
Court of Honor.
Purchased
new, the cost is about $60.00. |
|
Other
equipment
that may be needed is a sleeping bag, tent, flashlight and
comfortable hiking shoes. |
|
All boys are encouraged to
attend summer camp. The
cost varies, usually around $100.00 (payable in installments),
and the Scouts often earn their fees through popcorn sales or
Birdies for Charity. |
|
The council and the troop will
assist any boy whose family has a hardship. |

How To Join |
|
Complete an official application
for Scouts or Adult Leaders. Submit application and fee to
troop treasurer or committee person. Obtain uniform and Scout
Handbook. Complete medical form. Come to Meetings and Camp
Outs. Be ready to have
FUN! |
