Wreaths Across America

Raising money to place a live Maine wreath upon all of the 59,000+ fallen heroes gravesites at the Houston National Cemetery is a project that has touched the hearts of our entire group.  

With your help we can honor all of our veterans, one wreath at a time.

More Information

• Go to the website and click on "Join Our Team" on the right. 
• It doesn't matter what name or display name you use, but it will help us track the funds that will be credited to each boy if the display name is HIS name.  The main name will probably still be yours unless he sets up his own donation page.  We will get paper donation forms as well, but the easiest method is to get your friends and family to contribute online. 
• The wreaths are $15, of which we get $5 per wreath back for our fundraiser. Our troop goal is set at $6,000 initially, which should yield the troop $2,000 back.
• Checks should be made to WAA-Houston. Donna Settle will collect checks and cash at troop meetings.
• We will be collecting donations on Saturday, Nov 5, at Katy Mills Wal-Mart.

• Funds are due by November 20th (to purchase a wreath for 2011).
• Plan to be at the December 10 wreath laying ceremony.  More details to follow.
